What you’ll do:

You will be responsible for systematically landscaping strategic accounts to understand their business goals and needs to build a sales pipeline of 3x annual sales quota, working with assigned Mid-market accounts to nurture sales pipeline through the Vodafone selling process. You will identify opportunities for Mobility, Fixed, Mobile broadband, Unified Comms & Security through outbound calling, social selling and marketing campaigns as appropriate to the sales strategy. Thereafter you will engage with customers' buying centres and build solutions tailored to the customer’s needs, closing the sale and managing the customer ongoing for cross-selling purposes, whilst working with the wider team to support the account by servicing it in country.

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:

Devise and own a plan that supports the overall “Protect & Nuture” section of our SME Champion Strategy within Vodafone Ireland
Influence long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor for your customers
Devise and own a contract strategy to ensure reach across your base of accounts aligned to you
Identify & manage customer requirements needed to complete proposal &/or contract.
Work collaboratively with solutions Sales to identify opportunities to ensure revenue targets are delivered. Build & manage Sales pipeline to ensure a minimum of 3x Sales target
Provide support for marketing activities and events Provide timely and accurate forecasts and clear visibility on pipeline and performance
Assessing customers' needs and explaining how Vodafone can satisfy those needs
Working with internal stakeholders to respond to tender requests, gathering estimates, co-ordinate response streams and actively develop relationships with prospect procurement departments
Quoting and negotiating prices and credit terms, navigating through the procurement process and completing contracts
Work collaboratively to ensure revenue targets are delivered.
Reporting sales performance, and sales pipeline to your line manager
Work on Marketing-led initiatives to focus on key growth areas

Who you are:

A passion for work with clients in a high-quality service driven industry
4+ years' experience in a similar role
B2B sales experience
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Business acumen, sound decision making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships
A "can-do" attitude, drive and motivation to achieve their best potential and performance overall
Resourceful and innovative in finding new business opportunities and building pipeline in your customer base.
Strong commercial awareness and sound understanding of sales and project dynamics
Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to present to c-suite level
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
Proven track record of delivering against targets (quarterly and annually)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a solutions-based approach
A dynamic and flexible approach, as well as the ability to work under pressure
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to provide constructive feedback where required
Excellent service issue / complaint resolution skills
Contribution to business growth and service improvements
