Role Purpose:
The Entertainment Product Owner is part of the Consumer Fixed & Entertainment leadership team, who are responsible for creating and developing Entertainment and Fixed Broadband strategy, products, services and propositions. From the way we build and develop our products, to how we create insight-driven propositions and best in class go-to-market campaigns, this is where some of our best ideas are brought to life.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced TV & Entertainment product owner to lead our Entertainment Product and Marketing team and support our Chief Product Owner. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of key leadership and decision-making processes, gaining deep insights into both strategic and operational aspects of our business and drive a growing and exciting product and line of business within Vodafone
Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:
Leading the TV Product and propositions Team to develop a long term Entertainment Strategy, including commercial & customer satisfaction KPI setting, product roadmap and go-to-market execution plan.
Work with a Senior Delivery PO and technical teams, acting as the customer, to ensure what is built meets customer needs and exceeds their expectations.
Act as the main Point of Contact for the local and Group Entertainment Teams as well as new and existing external Content partners.
Own and drive the commercial strategy, including meeting internal commercial targets as well as external KPIs set with third-party content partners.
Lead a team of 3-4 direct reports responsible for product management, propositions and content and TV operations
Work in close collaboration other members of Consumer Fixed & Entertainment leadership team to achieve joint customer and commercial goals.
We Are Looking For You, If You Have:
You have 7+ years in TV product management roles, with experience of marketing, strategic planning and third-party content partnerships with a track record of launching growth product and services
You have a good balance between strategic thinking and pragmatic commercial and product planning, with the ability to distill complex problems and determine core strategic deliverables.
You possess commercial understanding and acumen of commercial & customer satisfaction KPIs.
You have highly developed influencing skills, leadership capability, and the ability to achieve results through others.
You have experience in agile product development and delivery
You excel in written, verbal, and presentation skills.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment, ensuring day-to-day decisions are made in the context of strategic direction and ambition.
