SOHO Commercial Manager
Role Purpose:
The SOHO Commercial Manager has strong commercial acumen, a customer‑led mindset and the ability to operate at pace in a high‑volume, highly competitive SOHO environment. You will be curious, data‑driven and confident leading cross‑functional stakeholders to deliver sustainable growth. You will act as a clear commercial voice into the wider business, providing guidance on pricing, propositions and trading performance for SOHO customers.
In this role you will be accountable for defining and executing the commercial strategy for Vodafone Ireland’s SOHO mobile customer base, ensuring propositions, pricing and trading activity are aligned to both SOHO customer needs and overall business performance.
Your team:
You will be part of Vodafone Ireland’s Customer & Mobile Commercial Team, responsible for shaping and delivering the commercial success of the SOHO mobile portfolio. The role works closely with Consumer Mobile, Sales, Finance, CVM, Product and Device teams, acting as the business owner for commercial delivery and strategy for SOHO mobile.
Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:
P&L management & forecasting:
You will own the SOHO P&L, including forecasting, budgeting and performance management in partnership with Finance. You will create the annual detailed budget and track in‑year performance, clearly explaining performance drivers, variances and corrective actions.
You will be accountable for reporting on key customer, financial and commercial KPIs, ensuring revenue and margin growth is sustainable and aligned to broader Vodafone objectives.
Trading and performance:
Lead weekly trading performance for SOHO, analysing acquisitions, churn, net growth and ARPU trends.
Own commercial offer appraisal, ensuring propositions deliver competitive value while protecting margin.
Work closely with Sales and Finance to assess the financial impact of quarterly plans and optimise bottom‑line performance.
Embed performance learnings into future trading plans and reforecasts.
Commercial ownership & device pricing:
Own SOHO device pricing strategy, ensuring alignment with Consumer pricing frameworks while reflecting SOHO commercial objectives.
Act as the single commercial owner for device economics, subsidies and promotional mechanics within SOHO.
Partner with Consumer Device teams to ensure pricing consistency, operational alignment and effective execution.
Operational leadership & cross‑functional alignment:
Own the day‑to‑day operational commercial relationship with the Consumer Mobile team for SOHO propositions, pricing and execution.
Ensure SOHO requirements are clearly represented in Consumer‑led processes and decision forums.
Drive simplification and speed to market through strong stakeholder alignment.
We Are Looking For You, If You Have:
Essential
5+ years’ experience in a commercial, analytical or trading role.
Strong commercial planning, forecasting and pricing capability.
Experience working cross‑functionally in fast‑paced environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience in telecoms or high‑volume consumer markets an advantage.
Desirable
Accountancy qualifications
Data mining and modelling experience
