To lead the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant financial reporting for Vodafone Ireland, ensuring strong governance, control, and team development.

What you’ll do

• Lead, coach and develop a team of financial reporting professionals; create an environment where people feel supported and accountable.
• Own month-end, quarter-end and year-end close—ensuring accurate, timely reporting and strong governance.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant Vodafone reporting requirements; stay ahead of changes and translate them into practical actions.
• Strengthen internal controls over financial reporting; proactively identify risks and drive resolution.
• Produce clear, insightful reporting for senior stakeholders—turning complex data into a narrative that supports decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement: simplify processes, automate where possible, and partner across Finance/IT to deliver upgrades.
• Support cash delivery priorities through 
Key performance indicators:
• Close delivered on time with high data quality (minimal late adjustments / rework).
• Audit and controls outcomes: timely remediation of control issues and low level of reporting errors.
• Process improvement delivered: measurable reduction in manual effort or cycle time through simplification/automation.

Who you are

• Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 5+ years post-qualified experience.
• Proven people leader with a track record of building high-performing, engaged teams.
• Strong IFRS knowledge and confidence handling complex accounting topics with stakeholders.
• Calm, structured operator—able to deliver through deadlines without losing the human touch.
• Excellent communicator: clear, concise, and able to influence at senior levels.
• Improvement mindset: you enjoy making things simpler, stronger, and more efficient.
