Role purpose:

Complex solution sales of transformational ‘Internet of Things’ (IoT) services into target Irish companies, requiring a strong understanding of customer needs and strategic objectives.
To evangelise Vodafone’s expertise and experience in delivering IOT solutions, including how they will deliver value to our existing and prospective customers
To service our existing Enterprise accounts with innovation offerings through the IOT portfolio.  This includes ownership of P&L for high value IoT accounts, with objective to drive profitable growth within account.
To drive a solution mindset by understanding how to reconcile the technical features/benefits of IOT propositions & products to address business challenges of customers
To chart multi-year business development strategies on an account-by-account basis.
Development of strategic initiatives to support growth of the IOT Business in Ireland.
Having a deep understanding of key market verticals to enhance targeted campaigns.
Engage and develop IoT partner ecosystem to enhance Vodafone's position and offering in Ireland.  This should support improving market positioning, creation of joint GTM campaigns and enhanced service offerings or propositions. 
Identification and delivery of process improvements to improve profitability of service offerings.

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:

Develop and nurture relationship with internal stakeholders across other teams, promoting IoT internally.
Innovation and change
Strong solution sales capability with experience in transformational deals, driving TCO and process improvement to customers.
Be creative and understand customer’s needs from Vodafone with each new customer presenting a new challenge.  Possess a strong capability to conceive solutions composed from multiple product lines to meet customer’s business needs.
Challenge existing internal processes & identify areas for improvement, following through to implementation of improvements.

Who We Are Looking For:

Core competencies, Knowledge and Experience

Comprehensive knowledge of the Mobile wireless solutions industry, with strong experience in solution sales
Extensive and strong business acumen with a deep strategic perspective and ability to quickly understand business strategy
Commercially astute and financially literate
A proven record of success in achieving sales KPIs.
Strong presentation skills which can be tailored across the spectrum of customer audience-types (eg: C-suite; procurement; technical, etc)
Experience of specifically selling IoT solutions
Experience in managing the in-life relationship with IOT customers, (post-sale).
Experience of commercial contract structures 
Experience with strategic planning, new proposition development and solution selling
Deep understanding of key market verticals to enhance targeted campaign development.
Broad understanding of all levels of the IOT solution stack (eg: devices, connectivity, applications) and associated technology trends
Confident in articulating complex IOT solutions to C suite to show ROI & resolving customer business outcomes
Knowledge of current and trending IOT technologies (eg: 5G, LPWA, MPN mobile private networks, etc), and the components of the typical IOT solution stack.
Experience in, and an understanding of target IoT vertical market sectors i.e. Utilities, Security, Retail, Manufacturing, and Vehicle Tracking.
Understanding of data roaming models
