About this role

We are seeking a motivated Solution Sales Specialist to join our SME Digital Sales team in Dublin. This individual will work closely with National Account Managers to develop and close new business opportunities across the Total Communications portfolio. The role combines sales expertise, customer engagement, and solution knowledge to create tailored ICT and cloud-based propositions for SME customers. The ideal candidate will bring strong consultative selling capability, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to translate customer needs into impactful technology solutions.

What you’ll do

• Develop and manage a structured plan to achieve and surpass sales targets for Cloud & Hosting and ICT solutions.
• Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring proactive creation, qualification, and progression of opportunities.
• Conduct comprehensive Business Ready Conversations to understand SME customers’ goals and digital transformation needs.
• Map customer buying centres, identifying key influencers and decision-makers to ensure effective stakeholder engagement.
• Design and articulate tailored ICT solutions aligned with customer requirements and market trends.
• Prepare and present proposals, lead solution discussions, and support negotiations through to contract closure.
• Ensure customers have full visibility of the complete product portfolio, keeping them informed of updates and innovations.
• Provide knowledge-sharing and training within the team to bridge product or solution capability gaps.
• Collaborate with internal partners across sales, strategy, and marketing to drive consistency in go‑to‑market activities.
• Support management in achieving annual targets and KPIs related to solution sales performance.

Who you are

• Experienced professional with 3+ years in a similar consultative or solution sales role.
• Skilled in solution‑led selling, capable of leading strategic conversations with business decision-makers.
• Committed to continuous learning with a growth mindset, remaining adaptable in a fast-evolving digital environment.
• Proactive and confident with the ability to identify opportunities through structured customer analysis.
• Strong communicator able to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experienced in managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to complex deal closure.
• Adept at understanding partner ecosystems including distributors, resellers, software vendors, and system integrators.
• Able to bring customer voice and insights back into the business to enhance propositions and remove barriers.
