Role Purpose:

We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Unified Communications Product Manager to lead the development, delivery, and lifecycle management of our UC product portfolio. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of how our customers communicate and collaborate, ensuring seamless integration across voice, video, messaging, and conferencing platforms.

The role of the Unified Communications and Voice Product Manager is to lead and drive product lifecycle management for a number of strategic products in Unified Communications and Voice.  
These include products such as SIP and UC Collaboration platforms such as Ring Central and Teams.   This is a high growth portfolio capitalising on the shift from legacy technologies such as ISDN to SIP and Collaboration technologies.  
Significant investment has already been made into the portfolio and this role will continue to build on this success.

The role will also evaluate and develop new Products in the UC Portfolio where a number of new SIP and UC Collaboration products are to be developed in the future including Contact Centre.

The role will work with and be supported by other Unified Communication and Voice Product Managers responsible for a subset of the overall portfolio.  The role interacts closely with our Group UC Product Management teams that oversee our Group Product Portfolio. 

Essence of Role – Key Accountabilities:

Product Strategy & Vision
Define and own the UC product roadmap aligned with business goals and customer needs.
Monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to inform product direction.
Product Development & Lifecycle Management
Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, operations, marketing) through the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and beyond.
Translate customer and business requirements into clear product specifications and user stories.
Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the voice of the customer, gathering feedback through direct engagement, surveys, and usage analytics.
Collaborate with sales, go to market, commercial, strategic partners and operational teams to ensure product-market fit and successful go-to-market execution.
Closely align with the Group Product Teams on Strategy and future roadmap opportunities
Performance & Optimization
Define KPIs and success metrics; track product performance and iterate based on data insights.
Drive continuous improvement in product quality, user experience, and operational efficiency.
Compliance & Security
Ensure UC solutions meet regulatory, security, and data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).

We Are Looking For You, If You Have:

Knowledge and Experience:
5-10 years’ experience in Product Management including experience in developing, proving, and selling the customer business case.
Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent qualification ideally relating to marketing, business, economics, or technical discipline 
Knowledge of Unified Communication and Voice Platforms
Has worked with senior functional stakeholders to align with their product strategy and requirements. Highly proficient at managing market strategy and commercial requirements for product/s.
Has managed P&L and commercials for their product.
Excellent product knowledge particularly at the Ireland Market level. Able to spot product and technology trends. Can demonstrate a good understanding of key enabling product technologies.
Experience at resolving conflicting requirements.
Requires particular focus on customers/customer-facing. Able to manage and understand local and global customer trends.
Experience and interest in delivering flawless customer experience processes for your products.
Relationship management, influencing skills and contract negotiation experience
