What you’ll do

Our team, the SIM Technology Centre, offers an eSIM/SIM infrastructure, specialised expertise and technology guidance to all Vodafone markets, to enable them to deploy their local eSIM/SIM products in an efficient and simple way. The result is high-quality, secure, interoperable, highly available and standard-compliant SIM technology and IT infrastructure, that allows customers to access Vodafone networks and services. The introduction of eSIM technology and the integration into mobile device chipsets are shifting functionalities towards cloud systems and greatly accelerate the digitalization of the entire value chain and customer interaction.

 

We are now looking for an Expert SIM Solutions to join our friendly team:

 

With us, you can do expect to: 
• Contribute to the conception, specification and delivery of our own SIM / eSIM / iSIM technologies, services and tool infrastructure. Identify potential, gaps, suggest opportunities for improvement and drive their implementation
• Evaluate new technologies or services from our suppliers in terms of functionality, technical value and opportunities
• Translate customer demand into technical requirements and solution design, in alignment with our service portfolio. Support our stakeholders and customers with professional expertise
• Ensure technical acceptance and conformance approvals of our service portfolio. Define validation activities, implement acceptance criteria and review results in co-operation with our suppliers and partners
• Drive issue resolution and solution developments internally and with suppliers/partners. Manage and steer multiple suppliers and partners
 

Who you are

• University degree in technology (engineering, telecommunications, IT, computer science or similar)
• Enthusiasm for technologies, especially in the relation to the SIM sphere; high motivation and curiosity to learn and apply the unknown and new technology, to shape things and continuously challenge and improve. Understand how customers can benefit from it.
• Enjoy working in a team, but also have the passion to drive things forward independently, proactively and on your own responsibility.
• Eager to improve yourself everyday by constantly learning and applying new skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to adapt communication style to different audiences. Convey ideas, issues and information through the use of written or spoken language.
• High degree of flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks within given deadlines.
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken).
