What you’ll do
As a Cyber Security apprentice, your role will involve implementing a range of practices and technologies designed to safeguard sensitive information, ensure privacy, and maintain the integrity and availability of our data.
Example roles include:
- Customer Account Security Management - Managing cyber risks, developing and maintaining security policies, ensuring compliance with standards, documenting processes, and completing assurance questionnaires for customer support
- IP Network Analyst - Designing and building secure customer IP networks, developing detailed documentation, conducting hardware and software testing, and providing technical support for troubleshooting and resolving network issues
- Service Desk Advisor - Providing comprehensive support by professionally handling communications, logging and prioritizing incidents, offering first-line support, driving resolution with third parties, supporting internal systems, achieving quality SLAs and KPIs, and assisting with root cause analysis
- SOC Analyst - Monitoring SIEM systems and threat intelligence, managing firewall and IPS services, handling incident tickets and customer liaison, and assisting in producing security reports
Effective communication will be key to your success. Your ability to convey information clearly will ensure smooth communication and efficient decision-making.

This role comes with a Level 6 Digital Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship - Cyber Security pathway and we partner with a fantastic learning provider to support you all of the way.
Once you have successfully completed the apprenticeship and have your qualification we will continue to support your career journey with Vodafone UK.
