Salary: £26,300 (non-London) and £28,940 (London), plus annual performance bonus and VodafoneThree benefits

What you’ll do
You'll join our Vodafone Business Security Enhanced (VBSE) team, which delivers cyber security and secure technology solutions that help government, public sector, defence, and critical national infrastructure stay resilient, connected, and safeguarded against evolving threats.
As an IT Support apprentice, you’ll work with the experts who keep VodafoneThree’s most sensitive environments running safely and seamlessly. You’ll help keep our technology resilient, support colleagues across the business, and play your part in protecting the systems that power our secure services.
You will:
- Deliver confident, customer‑focused 1st and 2nd line IT support to keep our teams up and running.
- Set up and roll out new equipment, making sure users get a smooth, stress‑free start.
- Maintain and upgrade systems so everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
- Strengthen our security by applying essential patches and managing user accounts with precision.
- Get hands‑on with server builds and configuration, learning how the backbone of IT comes together.
- Support the delivery of impactful IT projects that help us improve, evolve, and innovate.
- Audit systems and assets to ensure everything is accurate, secure and ready for future growth.
Alongside your day-to-day role, you’ll study toward a Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship, delivered by one of our trusted training partners.
Who you are
- You’ve got a passion for technology, enjoy helping others, and are motivated to learn fast and keep up with the ever‑evolving ICT landscape.
- You’re great at staying organised, juggling tasks, setting priorities, and planning your work so you always stay ahead.
- You must hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English & Maths at Grade 4/C or above by September 2026.
- Must meet UK Government apprenticeship levy funding eligibility requirements.
This position requires the ability to obtain and hold UK Security Check (SC) clearance.

We believe that collaboration, connection and shared in‑person experiences enable us to do our best work and deliver meaningful impact together. While flexibility is still important, this role is designed to be predominantly office‑based to support close teamwork, hands‑on problem‑solving and a strong sense of community. You’ll spend the majority of your time on site, with occasional flexibility where your role allows. Your line manager will work with you to set clear expectations for office presence based on the needs of your team, the work you’ll be doing and the level of support, collaboration and visibility required for you to thrive in the role.
