Role Purpose

The primary objective is to deliver efficient support and problem-solving assistance for Vodafone Enterprise applications and services. This involves implementing monitoring measures, providing proactive actions, and resolving issues to maintain optimal service availability and performance. Additionally, ensuring timely availability of closing, trade, and daily reports is a crucial responsibility.
 

Role Profile

  • Ensure accurate and on time data delivery and service availability according to agreed SLA.
  • Ensure a complete technical planned handover, and full delivered documentation and technical manuals of new applications/services.
  • Ensure on time support delivery and fixes of applications/services problems with a proper follow-up with team members .
  • Effective supporting the finance monthly closing activities and the Bi-Weekly trade review reports
  • Ensure availability and performance for all web applications.
  • Evaluate, solve and log reported problems during handling daily operational service requests (SRs)/TTs
  • Monitoring all KPIs and taking proper action in any violation in trend.
  • Handling support services such as BI and Enterprise applications within normal on call and shift base on duty actions
  • Work and develop proactive monitoring to cover all BI services trends

Core Competencies & Qualifications

  • From 0-2 years’ experience in BI Apps and technologies 
  • B.SC of Computer science, Engineering and equivalent Certificates
  • Data Warehouse Concepts: Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, including data modelling, ETL processes, integration, and data quality.
  • Database Management Systems: Proficiency in working with database Oracle, PL-SQL querying and performance tuning.
  • ETL Tools and Data Integration: Experience with ETL tools like Informatica, DataStage, or SSIS, and the ability to develop, and troubleshoot ETL workflows.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Strong analytical skills for data analysis, trend identification, and generating reports or dashboards to support decision-making.
  • Troubleshooting and Automation: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to data loading, transformation, and reporting, and familiarity with scripting languages for automation.
  • Programming and Admin skills: 
  • Fair Knowledge for WebLogic, TOMCAT, Jboss  ,Python 
  • Business Object Reporting, Java
