Role Purpose

This is a commercial role within the Sales Excellence function, focused on sales planning, forecasting, and performance management. It supports the Vodafone Business Unit in achieving commercial targets by ensuring accurate sales forecasts, budget planning, and performance analysis. (Note: This role is not part of the Finance function.)

 

Job Profile

•    Manage the sales forecasting and planning process, ensuring data accuracy and proper governance.
•    Support the development of revenue, CapEx, OpEx, and acquisition budgets, and assist the VBU Director in delivering on commercial targets.
•    Prepare and maintain budget vs. actual performance reports, identifying trends and variances to support business decisions.
•    Develop and administer commission and incentive schemes, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives.
•    Design and launch sales contests to motivate teams and improve performance; track and analyze results.
•    Provide sales reporting and analytics to monitor business performance and identify growth opportunities.
•    Partner with key stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure accurate planning and reporting.
•    Continuously improve forecasting accuracy and sales governance processes.
