Role Purpose:

Accountable for defining and owning the Fixed digital transformation roadmap and governance activities, directly influencing Vodafone Egypt and Group‑level strategic outcomes.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership:

  • Define and sponsor the Fixed Network digital transformation strategy, including automation and data‑driven operating models, to materially reduce risk, cost, and human dependency.
  • Sponsor and govern large‑scale automation initiatives across Fixed and IP domains.
  • Development, maintenance and support for the tools and services that automate and digitize the transmission tasks and systems.
  • Governance for all internal and external reporting across the Fixed department including Vodafone group requests, Vendors Management & other Vodafone teams communication.
  • Act as the primary Fixed Network interface toward senior Technology, Finance, Strategy, and Group stakeholders, shaping cross‑functional decisions and influencing OpCo‑wide outcomes.
  • Accountable for Business continuity plans across Fixed department
  • Build-up & enhancement processes to facilitate the workflow
  • Achieve all digital transmission KPIs targets
  • Deliver all governance requests and reports on time.

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • +3 years of experience in governance, digital transformation activities, data analytics, and automation solutions.
  • Broad and strong technical experience of Transmission, and Ethernet technologies (IP/MPLS/Ethernet technologies)
  • Full awareness with the IP products and vendors.
  • Strong knowledge with network programmability concepts.
  • Strong knowledge with full stack programming languages (Python, HTML, JS)
  • Ability to balance short-term goals with long-term vision for departmental growth.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships across diverse teams.
  • Commitment to meet deadlines, achieving targets, and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Curiosity to explore new technologies, processes, and ideas for continuous improvement.
  • B.SC. in Electrical Engineering majoring in   Communication and Electronic Engineering.
  • Full awareness and strong knowledge with Transmission concepts and technologies.
  • Solid Knowledge of Transmission vendors and products across all transport domains (access, Backhaul and backbone).
  • Solid Knowledge of Network DevOps concepts (Automation using python)
  • Full understanding of customer demands/needs and flexibility to exceed customers’ expectations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive strategic decisions.
