Role purpose

To own the accuracy, quality and commercial performance of all content published on Vodafone Egypt's online marketplace, so that customers can find, understand and trust every product listed.

Job Profile

• Content standards and structure: own the content standard for the marketplace — titles, descriptions, images, specifications and price display — and the category structure; decide whether a listing meets the standard before it is published.
• Seller content onboarding: own content onboarding for sellers of all sizes, including bulk listing uploads from large retail partners, bilingual guidelines and templates and agreed content service levels; decide when persistent non-compliance is escalated for commercial action.
• Compliance and brand integrity: ensure published content complies with brand agreements, act as first line of detection for counterfeit or misleading listings, and decide on suspension of listings pending investigation.
• Team and content operations: lead and develop the content team, design scalable content operations and tooling requirements, and report content health and campaign delivery into the business review cycle.

Competencies and Qualifications

• Four to six years in online retail content, catalogue or merchandising operations, including at least two years on a marketplace or multi-seller platform, with proven ownership of a live catalogue at scale.
• Excellent written Arabic and English, with the ability to write, edit and set editorial standards for customer-facing commercial copy in both languages.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills — able to hold a quality standard with sellers and with internal teams outside their reporting line, without delaying launches.
• Strong analytical skills, uses conversion, search and returns data to priorities content work; advanced Excel and hands-on experience with a content or catalogue management system.

Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field.
• Full professional fluency in Arabic and English, written and spoken.
