Role Purpose

Financial Services Operations Specialist is responsible for looking after product KPI’s in terms of Set Ops process for product, supporting model, overlooking on reconciliation, and Full Ops cycle E2E.

Job Profile

  • Process & Modelling: responsible for overseeing and optimizing card payment processing systems, ensuring security and compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting the development and management of card payment products and services
  • Support model: Oversee the daily operations of card payment processing systems. Ensure that all internal & external stakeholders have the proper tools to support the customers. Provide training and support to internal teams on card payment processes and systems.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Work closely with different functions in Vodafone to align on product propositions, ensure all decisions are in line with broader company objectives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Act as the primary liaison between various stakeholders, including tech teams, regulatory teams, CC & etc..
  • Full Ops Cycle: Collaborate with product teams to develop, enhance, and launch new card payment products and services.
  • Agile Environment: Operate within an agile framework, contributing to sprint planning, and iterative development processes    Core competencies, knowledge, and experience:
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels This including effectively presentations with Microsoft Office
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, ensuring alignment and collaboration across teams
  • Agile Methodology: Experience working in an agile environment is a plus, with an understanding of sprint planning, iterative development, and cross-functional team collaboration
  • Product awareness: Card Issuance, LCM, four party model, CNP transaction, reconciliation/clearing/ settlement & Tokenization

Competencies and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in banking or fintech role
  • Proven track record of successful product ownership
  • Solid Knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel & PowerPoint
