Role Purpose

This role sits within the Marketing and Communications function, responsible for shaping how Vodafone’s financial services are perceived and experienced by customers. The position requires a strategic communicator with a strong grasp of advertising, storytelling, and customer engagement—particularly within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will lead end-to-end communication initiatives, ensuring brand consistency and emotional resonance across all channels.
Marcom associate manager is responsible for leading strategic communication and advertising efforts for Vodafone Cash and other financial services. This role requires a dynamic, creative professional with deep expertise in financial services communication—crafting compelling narratives, driving brand visibility, and engaging customers in a competitive market.

Role Profile

• Develop and execute integrated communication and advertising campaigns for Vodafone Cash and financial services products.
• Shape brand messaging and positioning across all customer touchpoints.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to ensure consistent, high-impact communication.
• Monitor market trends and competitor advertising to inform strategy and differentiation.
• Ensure all communication aligns with regulatory standards and brand guidelines.
• Measure campaign effectiveness and optimize for reach, engagement, and impact.

Cmpetencies and Qualifications

Core Competencies, Knowledge and Experience

• Proven experience in leading communication and advertising campaigns, especially within financial services.
• Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional storytelling and messaging capabilities tailored to financial audiences.
• Deep understanding of financial services communication, including regulatory and customer behavior insights.
• Ability to manage cross-functional teams and agency relationships.
• Passion for innovation and continuous improvement in advertising effectiveness.


Must-Have Technical / Professional Qualifications

• Solid background in marketing, communication, or advertising—ideally with exposure to financial services.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in communication and advertising 
• Proficiency in digital advertising platforms and performance analytics.
• Familiarity with financial services communication standards and customer engagement strategies.
