Role Purpose

  • Supporting the Cairo site management team members in achieving their goals with excellence and quality standers by running, maintaining, preventing, securing, renewing, upgrading and clearing all Vodafone Network sites from any incidents in order to keep sites on Air and caring traffic to maintain the network availability KPIs supported by excellent governmental, law and public relations and strong communication, leadership and diplomacy skills in addition to the talent of public speaking.
  • Responsible for area responsibility allocated related to greater Cairo sites’ contract types renewal, amendment, retention, access, sites legalization, network upgrade access clearance
  • Managing and controlling the allocated sites area of responsibility to handle all reported active ( on air )  sites’ problems, due to non- technical reasons and retaining sites and owners to lead sites in its optimum operational conditions.
  • Keep tacking of all the payments methods of all the network sites with coordination with the finance and the legal department
  • Managing all the required actions for all active sites upgrade requirements from technical teams
  • Lead the legalization project in the sites legalization project to keep VFE sites safe and working in legal environment.
  • Coordinates the review of standards, processes, and procedures with other departments specially Health & Safety, environmental and security moreover to recommends updates to maximize effectiveness and efficiency, where appropriate.
  • Manage all working issues and assigned tasks/responsibilities from the field
  • Presents the best face and image of the organization to the community by working with influential figures to promote a positive view of the company, working with unhappy customers to resolve issues or misunderstandings, and working with grassroots supporters to create strong relationships throughout the community.
  • Ensure that he is applying the standers and the policy of the company specially the code of conduct and following Doing what’s right standers.
  • Monitors, escalate, raise flag and reports on his area of sites allocated area of responsibility  to his manager and monitors business process performance within his area of responsibility.
  • Review and assess all costs and payment requests by sites owners within a cost management figure and under the agreed company process and budget and after managerial approval.
  • Verify that all requests are properly stamped and approved by managerial level and respective Task Owners.
  • Monitor monthly receiving targets and take necessary actions to ensure they are consistently achieved.
  • Conduct periodic meetings with stakeholder to review progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with project timelines

Role Profile

  • Ensure concluding the optimum contracts renewals for our sites for controlled OpEx spending by formulating an aggressive and efficient approach, with the help of his team, to make sure that all Vodafone BTS contracts are managed properly as far as renewal and re-negotiation.
  • Provide support and guidance to all VFE network departments within the governmental bodies and service depts. With management and interface with all Authorities, site owners, legal consultant, corporate accounts and manage team to develop & implement site owner’s relationship program.
  • Ensure resolution of all non-technical problems (theft, access, , permits, ..) to maintain the network availability KPIs and Facilitate all kinds of projects in the network and any enhancements and expansions needed that needs sites’ access. Guarantee access clearance and permits to special access sites.
  • Manage the Health, Safety related incidents to handle the company and network business continuity plan to make sure that the business continuously managed with no human or property losses
  • Manage the deployment of all requested mobile radio stations (COWs) from event management committee according & as per the agreed SLA.
  • Dealing with contractors and governmental bodies for the site’s legalization project.
  • Representing the company in front of the external parties and governmental bodies.
  • Support with external visits the competitors shared sites to make sure the site owner loyalty to Vodafone Egypt.
  • Provide timely and accurate cost performance management reports by Track and report project costs on a regular basis.
  • Prepare problematic business cases forecasts based on actual progress, productivity trends, and risk analysis aligned with action plan

Qualifications and Competencies

  • BSc degree, post graduate studies is an advantage but not a must
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Mobile Business Management among which at least 3 years in Technology related functions.
  • Excellent Relationship/ account management governmental, law and public relations background and experience with strong communication, leadership and diplomacy skills in addition to the talent of public speaking and negotiation.
  • Broad diversified awareness of the know – How of the business with additional weight on the knowledge with Specific detailed knowledge, experience and professionalism that aids in running large scope relationships and agreements
  • Ability to deliver challenging targets in a dynamic market environment. Full understanding of customer demands/needs and flexibility to exceed customers’ expectations. 
  • Assess the major actors within a crisis situation to determine propensity for reactions and willingness to dialogue and advise on response strategies within the ability to initiate dialogue with different people within different cultures.
  • Great experience in reporting skills
  • Must have technical / professional qualifications:

    • Experience of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Power BI, Power Query).
    • Personal skills: Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and good command of English language.
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure with self-managed awareness.
    • Well organized, co-operative, and creative thinking.
    • Must have technical / professional qualifications:

      • Experience of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point, Power BI, Power Query).
      • Personal skills: Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and good command of English language.
      • Ability to work independently and under pressure with self-managed awareness
