Role Purpose

As a member of the Strategy Team, He/She will be managing & driving the Corporate Strategy Governance and Cross Functional Program management & Projects to implement & Execute the Company Strategy to ensure delivering on key strategic initiatives across the company & handling the end-to-end performance management of our long-term deliverables.

Job Profile

•    Leading the execution of the company's strategic initiatives, building strong relationship with stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and follow up on action points.
•     Managing key cross functional programs to enable corporate strategy execution, supporting cross functional stakeholders on building & delivering a clear business plan with the right metrics to achieve the company’s long-term goals.
•    Overseeing the strategy performance management by measuring and reporting on the performance of key strategic metrics, identifies gaps or inefficiencies, and works with stakeholders to improve performance and fill the gaps
•    Establishes and enforces governance frameworks, methodologies, and KPIs to monitor and evaluate project performance across departments.
•    Adopts a culture of continuous improvement by developing standards, tools, and best practices for organizational processes.
•    Aligns cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business development initiatives, focusing on agility and innovation.
•    Keep up to date on developments & market trends in Telco and adjacent industries topics providing detailed market research & insights & collaborates with business units to identify Strategic growth opportunities 
•    Work extensively with Vodacom Group Strategy & other Teams and be Vodafone Egypt’s spoc to manage key strategy reporting requirements & progress updates.
•    Collaborates with business units to identify growth opportunities, Key to develop strategies for market entry and optimize the time-to-market for new products or services.

 

Competencies and Qualifictaions

•    Ability to manage & deliver cross functional End to End strategic programs and initiatives  
•    Strong stakeholder & relationship management
•    Ability to work in multitasks under pressure
•    Ability to create board level presentations
•    Ability to deal with high levels of agility and ambiguity
•    Ability to maintain focus and drive over prolonged development periods
Experience Required: 
•     Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Business, Economics, Marketing
•    Project management certification (PMI, Prince 2, etc.).
•    A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in strategy & program/project management / PMO role, in a Telecom operator or Tech-Co within depth knowledge of the Telecoms ecosystem.  Prior Experience in Strategy / PMO roles in non-telco/tech-Co or management consulting can be considered.
•    Strong background in commercial, finance, business, and telecom technologies are preferred.
•    Experience in building qualitative and quantitative 5-year strategic plans for large corporations. 
•    Successful track record in major transformations in large organizations.
•    Successful track record in complex programs/projects management execution.
•    Experience in building qualitative and quantitative 5-year strategic plans for large corporations. 
•    Experience in program management tools (MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
•    Seasoned people manager.
•    Strong commercial, operational / Project management acumen / knowledge as well as critical problem-solving skills, able to rationalize strategies into deliverable, operational business plans
