Role Purpose:

  • Govern and Drive the investments of CAPEX and OPEX & Direct cost, ensuring optimum investments plans to achieve Strategic goals & business objectives
  • Govern and manage the Budget Planning Team community across Technology, to ensure investments (Capex / Opex) are in line with the business priorities & strategy, and to track/assess Technology build and Key performance metrics.
  • Manage different Technology plans insights, analysis, investment prioritisation, recommendation, KPI’s reporting and alignment with the Business & Technology departments.
  • Responsible for all Vendor management technical and financial requirement
  • Provide various Supplier Management and Process Improvement services, across Technology. Key focus will be managing supplier, relationship, contracts and financials.
  • Identify the process improvement opportunities and potential savings during supplier’s contract reviews or negotiations and services reviews
  • Govern the Logistics of Technology across Finance, Fixed assets & Technology to meet group targets & effectively manage the stock to be most beneficial to Vodafone Egypt

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership:

  • Develop the local Technology Capex/Opex investment plans (DB, 5+7 and LRP) across Technology Teams and interface with Finance and Business Teams to conclude the optimum investment plan given the allocated budget
  • Development of purchasing concepts for providing suppliers and partners services
  • Formulate LRP (3 years) fully integrated Technology Strategy after applying Gap analysis in all domains, study vendors’ roadmaps, Group guidance and Automation skills is an asset
  • Process optimisation targets
  • Customer Experience and Satisfaction targets
  • Operational Efficiency targets

Core Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

  • 8+ years of experience in IT & Network
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of the telecommunications industry
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Achiever and results oriented
  • Strong Financial Experience
  • Strong Financial and Technical knowledge
  • Automation skills
