 Software Tester
for our Technology Department

Your place in the team
Part of our Digital Tribe, take place in the agile internal development squad responsible for delivering the new releases for the My Vodafone application, and provide best in class test automation and test support to achieve as perfect good application quality as it is possible. Make the development teams life easier to provide them quality feedback as early as it is possible through automation and through team work.


You will be involved in the following tasks
•    Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents
•    Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases (manual and automated)
•    Organize, maintain and update existing test cases for backend and client tests
•    Execute automated tests (regression, post-deployment, sanity etc)
•    Execute manual test cases on the delivered mobile app clients and backend journey services
•    Develop and execute automated test scripts using Java test framework
•    Create defects with useful and technical details, keeping the customer experience in focus
•    Follow defect lifecycle and participates in defect triage meetings
•    Enhance automation functions to improve ease of use and re-usability
•    Monitor automation results in Continuous Integration software
•    Gain domain expertise
•    Deep understanding of product features and functions
•    Gain technical and architectural knowledge of My Vodafone application and it’s backend microservices and how it interacts with external components in end to end scenarios
•    Close cooperation with developers during designing and executing the test scripts
•    Participate in sanity testing of occasional nightly production releases

We are looking for you if you have
•    3+ years experience in technical software quality engineering
•    3+ years experience in it development projects
•    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
•    Precise working with attention to details
•    Good communication skills, understanding business and technical experts as well
•    Experience with one or more test automation frameworks (Selenium webdriver, Appium, Jmeter etc.)
•    Experience with manual UI based testing
•    Experience with reading and understanding Java code and creating automated scripts in Java
•    Knowledge of JIRA or other issue tracking software
•    Experience with SOAP and REST services, Java microservices, Jmeter is a plus
•    Experience with Open ID, Oauth2 and JWT authentication method
