Test Designer
Your day to day:
The employee in the position of Test Designer will be responsible for ensuring that the Enterprise Products and Services meet the requirements of the business parties involved within Vodafone Germany and their quality. One of the objectives of the position is to minimize cost, but also to improve operational efficiency when new systems, products and services are introduced. These objectives are met by delivering appropriate, efficient testing services, identifying defects during the delivery cycle as soon as possible and minimizing risks to the launch.
What you’ll do
- Analyzes the system design documents and creates the test set for test delivery
- Based on the analysis of the specific documents, create the test plans
- Assesses the complexity of the project and the interdependencies between the components under test and provides detailed estimates of the time and resources required for testing
- Creates all periodic test reports and keeps the traceability matrix up to date
- Creates the test strategies and ensures their proper application and the test plan
- At the end of the testing period, analyze the test results and create a list of "lessons learned" to optimize the testing process in subsequent runs
- Ensures that it handles all test cases and creates test scripts, taking into account quality requirements
Who you are
- Worked in an environment that required an understanding of complex technologies
- Solid knowledge of information technology and network technologies in telecommunications and corporate environment
- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to balance and resolve conflicts of interest
- Proven execution experience in making things happen. Determination and flexibility in alternating tasks or projects
- Ability to work across multi-functional and cultural boundaries in order to deliver services and change
- Proven experience in Waterfall or Agile methodologies.
- Experience with HP QC/ALM, Jira or other software used in the life cycle of a software product (CD&I tools)
- Automated testing using various programming environments and libraries
- Fluent in written and verbal communication in English (B2-C1).
