About this Role

We are seeking a Test Engineer who will ensure high‑quality testing services are delivered in alignment with business needs and internal stakeholders. The individual will contribute to reducing testing effort and cost, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring early detection of defects by thoroughly planning and executing test scenarios. This role works closely with Test Leads, contributing ideas for continuous improvement, automation, and performance optimisation.

What you will do

• Analyse design specifications and requirements to define and develop accurate test cases and scenarios
• Execute test cases using test data or production‑like datasets
• Create and maintain regression test plans, supporting ongoing software development
• Gather required information to support Test Leads with preparing and validating testing reports
• Monitor the defect lifecycle, identifying, documenting, and re‑testing defects as needed
• Propose new automation concepts and support the implementation, maintenance, and execution of automated tests

Who you are

  • Experience with technologies such as TCP/IP, SSL, XML, XSD, Java, and HTML5
  • Hands‑on experience with automated testing frameworks and programming languages
  • Experience using test management tools such as HP ALM, JIRA, TFS or similar
  • Knowledge of Web Services (REST, SOAP) – manual and automated testing
  • Ability to write SQL queries and understanding of basic data management principles
  • Understanding of requirements (use cases, functional specifications, UI specifications) and object‑oriented concepts
  • Background in informatics, electronics, electrical engineering, or information technology
  • English language skills at B2 level or higher
  • Any additional foreign language is an advantage
