Role Purpose 

We are seeking a Core Network Planning Expert with the will and ambition to work in high performing Vodafone Team responsible for Leading Digital Transformation in Turkey, reporting to Core Planning Senior Manager of Vodafone Turkey.
The Core Network Planning Expert is a key position that ensures that the day to day planning of the Core network elements are managed and tracked and interaction with the stake holders and vendors are carried out to ensure that the services offered are delivered on time.

Your place in the team

• To provide hands-on expertise in planning and designing of Voice Core network systems  through 2G, 3G  and LTE, IMS, VoLTE and 5G VoNR.
• To carry out budget and investment planning for expansion and new functionality implementation of Voice Core Network systems
• To provide expertise in the area of mobile voice and data protocols and their 3GPP specifications: Gb, Iu, Gr, Gi, Gn (GTP, GTPv2-C), Gx, Gy,Sd, S1-MME, S1-U, S3, S4, S5, S8, S11,S6a, SGs, S2b,SWu and S6b.
• To provide expertise in the area of VoLTE , VoWifi call flows, nbIOT, OpenAPI  and their specifications
• To provide expertise in the area of IP protocols and their RFCs: OSPF, BGP, RIP, DNS, SNMP, IPSEC, RADIUS, NTP, DIAMETER. 
• To provide Expertise and Support in IMS, A/I-SBC, TAS, MSC, MGW, CSDB and DRA/STP systems Planning and Dimensioning.
• To analyze Business Requirements and to translate into Network Requirements Specification that meets business and customer requirements.
• To analyze Core Network vendor roadmaps’ and to evaluate new products, features and technologies for new service deployments.
• To perform technical analysis of Core Network SW features and make proposals for SW Feature set that will be applied in Core Network and to assess the necessity of Core Network HW/SW upgrades in order meet business requirements and make execution plans accordingly.
• To propose optimization and modification of existing and new services provided through the core network 
• To create and evaluate Technical Requirement Specifications and/or Request For Information/Proposal/Quotation documentations for Core Network systems and projects
• To prepare Business Continuity Management Plans for Core Network systems
• Ensure that the Core related KPI’s are tracked and followed up with the related teams to ensure that all issues are identified and sorted out, before there is a risk to the network. 
• Track the KPI’s and prepare Trend reports and follow up these reports to proactively 
• To follow up new technologies and be responsible for necessary integrations. 
• To provide support in the area of Virtualization, Network Cloud and D/S Orchestration
• To support Core Network Rollout from network planning perspective.
• To analyze the effect of the campaigns on the performance of the network based on the figures provided by Marketing and Sales departments
• Ensure that the KPIs are tracked for the services and required investment is requested if needed 
• Ensure that the Projects are implemented within the Budget and the timeline 
• To analyze nominal designs and dimensioning reports that are prepared by vendors to be sure that network was planned according to requirements
• Close interaction, understanding and Alignment of the Project and plan with other Stakeholders (RAN, CPN TX, IT, Operations, marketing, etc)
• Discussing with other OpCos and Group technology for the Service related strategy and topics
• Constant Communication with vendors to update, discuss and improve the received services
• Work closely with the operations teams by providing timely input, feedback and RFC’s to carry out all Core services related network activities

We are looking for you if you have

• Bachelor’s degree from Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience.
• Mobile Voice Core Network planning experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, high-growth environment
• Customer service orientation and Self-motivated 
• Strong Analytical thinking and presentation skills and deliver expectations on time.
• Self-motivated and customer centric
• Enthusiastic team player, needs to communicate with other Departments
• Time management and prioritization and Result Oriented
• Ability to participate in and facilitate VF Group Meetings & Projects
