About this Role

We are seeking an Employee Relations & Payroll Specialist who will deliver high-quality, operational employee relations support aligned with business priorities and local market requirements. This role provides practical guidance on labour policy, employment law, payroll-related activities, and employee relations processes, while ensuring accurate data management and effective coordination with employee councils and stakeholders.

What you will do

  • Provide reliable operational support, administration, and sound guidance across employee relations activities in line with local labour legislation.
  • Manage AR‑GE / Teknokent payroll processes in compliance with Turkish legislation, including the accurate calculation and application of income tax exemptions, SGK incentives, correct segregation of AR‑GE and non‑AR‑GE payroll elements, preparation of statutory reports, and support for audits through close collaboration with Payroll, Finance, and relevant stakeholders.
  • Deliver employment law support on matters such as redundancies, grievances, disciplinary processes, TUPE activities, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Coordinate employee councils, including preparation, documentation, and meeting minutes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR and ER records within HR systems to ensure data integrity.
  • Act as a point of contact for employee relations queries, resolving issues using applied technical knowledge.
  • Support the consistent application of employee relations standards across the local market.
  • Collaborate with ER, Reward, HR Business Partners, and other HR colleagues in delivering the employee relations agenda.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of required data to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform HR administration activities, managing employee data and organisational records.
  • Run monthly payroll activities in compliance with Labour Law No. 4857 and Social Security Institution legislation.
  • Manage employee relations cases, including performance and conduct matters, in line with labour law and company policies.
  • Collect and manage new joiner documentation and complete Social Security Institution employment entries.
  • Calculate receivables and payables for leavers, coordinate with the payroll team, and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Prepare Social Security Institution exit notifications for leavers.Report monthly employment costs, manage the payroll budget, and share insights with the management team.

Who you are

  • An individual with working knowledge of Labour Law No. 4857 and Social Security Institution legislation.
  • Experienced in employee relations processes, payroll coordination, and HR administration.
  • Confident in providing practical, policy-aligned advice on employment matters.
  • Skilled in data management, documentation accuracy, and use of HR systems.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and supporting broader HR strategies.
  • Analytical, organised, and able to manage sensitive information with discretion.
