ROLE PURPOSE


Pega Decisioning Architect is responsible for defining decision architecture, solutions & designs for Pega Decisioning and Pega Marketing. Solid end to end experience defining solutions, designs, and implementations in Customer Marketing, Contact Strategy, Segmentation, Adaptive Modelling, Campaign Management - Inbound and Outbound. It is Pega Decisioning Architect's responsibility to analyse, design and develop business strategies in Pega platform.

-    Iteratively document and improve architectural approaches, service design, and development processes and approaches.
-    Refine and/or redesign application architecture to be more cost-effective, including the optimal selection of implementation technologies, practices, and skills for application delivery success.
-    Define the current application architecture, and identify issues within it, including tracking technical debt.
-    Create and maintain application architecture deliverables and artifacts.
-    Develop Pega Strategies to leverage channels and capabilities that exists to actualize customer journeys.
-    Develop Pega DataFlows for processing both batch and realtime events.
-    Develop Pega ESM rules for realtime stream processing
-    Actively participate in the requirements, design, and build phases of an application through collaboration with the business contacts and Pega consultant team
-    Assist with the planning and execution of unit, integration and user acceptance testing
-    Support existing applications and production issues

Long Description

 

We are looking for you if you have

 

-    Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a related field (preferably quantitative focus such as Engineering, Business Administration)
-    Pega Certified Decisioning Consultant (PCDC) is preferable.
-    Pega Certified System Architect (PCSA) is a plus.
-    6+ years of work experience in IT roles
-    3+ years of Pega experience in Pega Decisioning and Pega Marketing skills is mandatory
-    Strong knowledge on Pega Adaptive and Predictive models.
-    Experince integrating 3rd party big data models to Pega Strategies.
-    Experience on CDH (Customer Decision Hub)  is a preferable.
-    Experience on ADM (Adaptive Decision Manager) is a preferable.
-    Experience on NBA (Next Best Action) Designer is a plus.
-    Experience on Pega Paid Media Manager is a plus.
-    Hands on exprience at Pega 8.5 or later versions is preferable
-    Strong knowledge of object oriented concepts, design patterns.
-    Define the application architecture, track and identify issues within it, work towards a solution
-    Design/Redesign the application architecture to be more cost-effective considering performance and code quality
-    Develop custom Pega activities to integrate / consume external platforms, services
-    Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and software development principles,
-    Demonstrated knowledge of SOA principles with integration experience using different protocols SOAP,REST etc..),
-    Experience implementing Pega integration services using REST, SOAP and other XML-based technologies
-    Excellent skills in any of the RDBMS tools like Oracle, MSSQL or DB2. Should be proficient in SQL commands, Should have knowledge noSQL databases. 
-    Strong knowledge on NoSQL databases like Cassandra, MongoDB.
-    Experience implementing Pega data integration services access RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases.
-    Ability to read and understand procedural language code and translate it into functional technical requirements.
-    Experience with the entire SDLC process, 
-    Familiarity with Agile methodology.
-    Fluency in English both writing and speaking
-    Proven analytical skills and demonstrated ability to manage the business “by the numbers”. Analytical problem solving abilities and ability to work with data.
