In any organisation, the sales department plays a pivotal role in the success of the business. The unique and important role of sales is to bridge the gap between the potential customer’s needs and the products/services that the organisation offers that can fulfil their needs. If we consider the purpose of this role in four bullets :

•    Product-Market Fit 
•    All business planning begins and ends with the sales forecast
•    Communicating value from the business to the market 
•    Nothing happens until someone sells something

How will you spend your time at Vodafone?

•    Own and manage the full-life cycle of Wholesale Data business with National Carriers. 
•    Manage Wholesale Data products following the market/customer demand and trends with up-to date Wholesale Product portfolio.
•    Manage local and international data sales
o    Achieve revenue targets through Wholesale Data sales to Domestic carriers
o    Maximize local data sales over own fiber to carriers collocated in own datacenters
o    Increase # of carriers collocated in own datacenters 
o    Follow up new sales leads from existing carriers and search and add new local and international carriers to the portfolio
o    Promote and focus on selling our fiber through the borders 
o    Periodically arrange conference calls and meetings with carriers to be fully aware of their needs and to follow up new leads
•    Make sure regular sales reports are prepared and financial results are accurately reported.
•    Prepare presentations related to Wholesale Data Business when needed
•    Participate in local and international conferences, meetings and Carrier events to represent the company and introduce Wholesale Data products in order to seek for new opportunities
•    Monitor sectoral developments and key players in the market; identify market trends 
•    Coordinate the full life-cycle of Wholesale Data sales and after sales implementations 
•    Provide technical and commercial support for Data & TowerCo products to corporate sales when needed
•    Negotiate with National/Local carriers to purchase local access services for  data customers when necessary
•    Business Development mindset for the National partnership on the data businesses and create a regional synergy
•    Complete internal tasks for buying activities in coordination with all related departments inside VF Turkey organization
•    Prepare report for all sales & buying activities and keep sales funnel report updated weekly basis
•    Follow market/customer demand and trends for up-to date Wholesale Data Product portfolio

You are just the person we’ve been looking for, if you have:

•    Bachelor Degree in engineering or business
•    Minimum 6 years of  Wholesale or Telecom Experience
•    Acquaintance with Global & Local Wholesale Data Players’ Managers, Account Managers
•    Know-how of local and global Wholesale Data market indicators
•    A good understanding of the technical requirements of the Wholesale Data Business
•    Extensive Technical Knowledge of Wholesale Data products
•    Ability to manage & lead business cases and the customer projects together with related internal teams
•    Strong written,verbal communication skills&inter-personal skills both in Turkish and English
