Role Purpose

To supervise daily finance operations, ensure strong financial controls, and coordinate operational finance activities across M-Pesa Finance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Supervise finance operational activities and staff
  • Monitor daily reconciliations and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and internal controls
  • Coordinate issue resolution across finance operations
  • Support process automation and system enhancements
  • Monitor operational risks and escalation management
  • Support audit and compliance activities

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Operational issue resolution time
  • Reconciliation completion rate
  • Team productivity
  • Audit findings closure rate 

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 5+ years supervisory experience
  • Experience in fintech or telecom preferred
