What you’ll do
Role title: Finance Controller VSOL UK
Function: Finance
Reports to: Financial Controller VSOL group
Location: Any center (EU, Egypt, India)
Role purpose:
Managing the finance operations activities in VSOL UK entities , the role contributes to the overall compliance with Group Accounting, statutory reporting and fiscal requirements.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
Strategic Financial Oversight:
Lead the comprehensive review and strategic analysis of the company’s balance sheet accounts, ensuring alignment with the holding company’s long-term financial objectives and statutory requirements. This role directly influences financial stability and growth across all VSOL UK entities.
Senior Stakeholder Management:
Engage and collaborate with senior executives and key stakeholders, including the Group Financial Controller and external auditors, to provide insightful financial advice and support. Your ability to communicate complex financial information effectively and persuasively will be crucial in driving strategic decisions at the highest levels of the organization.
Complex Decision-Making:
Navigate and resolve complex accounting issues that impact the holding company’s financial integrity. This includes making informed decisions that require deep financial expertise, strategic thinking, and high emotional intelligence to balance competing interests and achieve the best outcomes for the organization.
Consolidation and Reporting Excellence:
Oversee the consolidation activities for the VSOL group financials, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements in compliance with both statutory and group reporting requirements. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that financial reporting supports the strategic direction of the company.
Process Optimization and Innovation:
Proactively monitor and analyze current financial processes, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements. Implement new procedures that enhance the financial operations’ effectiveness, contributing to the overall strategic goals of the holding company.
Strategic Financial Planning and Advisory:
Provide expert consultation on the adoption and implementation of accounting standards and group policies. Your strategic input will be essential in shaping the financial policies that guide the holding company’s operations and ensuring they align with the broader corporate strategy.
Who you are
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
• Advanced accounting knowledge;
• SAP knowledge;
• PC and MSOffice operations skills
• Problem solving and decision-making skills
• Minimum 5 years experience
• Good written and spoken English language
