The purpose of this role is to drive and coordinate the Fixed Access Demand and Planning for Portugal and Greece in line with the NGA strategy and market priorities.
What you’ll do
- Drive all Fixed Access Demand, acting as unique interface (SPOC) for all requestors from the assigned markets, either internal from Fixed Access Engineering (FAE), or external, such as Network Planning, Operations, Deployment and Commercial Units;
- Conduct and coordinate rough Feasibility assessments in Demand Formalization phase (pre-Gate0) till Initiative Setup (Gate0);
- Act as Project Manager, so called Engineering Initiative Manager (EIM) in Fixed Access Engineering technical request/projects, from Project setup (Gate0) till Delivery Start (Gate2), defining and driving project team and governance, engaging all FAE requested verticals, ensuring budget approvals, conducting detailed feasibility assessments, and driving team to elaborate High level design and Requirements, and finally performing effective handover to delivery phase to Engineering Delivery Manager (EDM) after G2 approval;
- Coordinating the build of the 3 years Network Evolution Plan (NEP) with the corresponding budget plans, in collaboration with the technical domains, through a good understanding of the market strategy and demand in the assigned market;
- Ensure the submissions of our budget plans, both DB (next year’s budget) and LRP (Long Range Plan), by closing with stakeholders the list or projects, dependencies, prioritization, and technical plans, and providing impact analysis in case of challenges, based on local priorities and Group strategy;
- Track and monitor Fixed Access Engineering budget spending, providing full reasons for plan deviations, and driving the execution of mitigation plans. Ensure reporting Automation.Define and implement a governance model with Local Markets, engaging local and group management, identifying topics for alignment/decision, organizing meetings and materials, and aligning to NSE & Local processes and toolsProvide a clear view of main project status to FAE management in monthly basis with Project status, achievements, next Milestones, Risks & Mitigation Plans;
- Ensure consistency, providing a clear view of project status, and driving FAE contribution to the Group and Local project portfolio dashboards;
- Drive Automation tracking and reporting of our processes and projects;
- Drive topics for alignment and decision, on services, processes and tools on per country basis;
- Alignment w/Local stakeholders
Who you are
- Career degree (preferable technical as Telecom Engineer);
- Project management Skills;
- Good knowledge of the European Telecommunication business and Fixed Network Architectures/Technologies;
- Persuasive communicator, with initiative and drive, able to manage many stakeholders in Group Engineering and Local Markets;
- Good skills in managing budget and Fluent with financial concepts;
- Experience in working in multi-country engineering teams;
- Fluency in English.
