As a Senior Expert Network Deployment, you proactively deliver and promote ideas for network expansion in the Mobile Network for Vodafone Portugal in coordination with TowerCO’s, several external partner deployment teams and other internal teams, e.g., Network Operations, Radio, TX and Enterprise Engineering teams.
What you’ll do
- Work independently and have responsibility on driving several activities across departments;
- Manage projects planning and develop all the necessary reporting during projects execution and drive project milestones with all the internal and external stakeholders;
- Actively design and further develop processes, including the introduction of new, cost-effective technologies and projects. This also includes participation in working groups to solve specific problems;
- Responsible contact person for vendors, other external companies and service providers as part of the Radio/TX Access network expansion for Vodafone Portugal;
- Independently create project reports and reports from the available internal databases and workflow processes;
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and regulations, as well as the requirements of health and safety Vodafone guidelines for network deployment.
Who you are
- Completed university education or comparable qualification;
- Many years (more than 5 years) of professional experience in the telecommunications environment;
- Strong experience around Radio technology as well as in the construction/conversion of telecommunications systems and telecommunications infrastructure;
- Excellent experience in the project management (PMO) and implementation of processes and workflows deployment and in related departments;
- Strong conceptual and analytical thinking and work, in-depth knowledge of professional project management;
- Negotiation skills in dealing with internal and external suppliers within the specialist area;
- Excellent customer communication skills, as well as good conflict management;
- Capacity for communication and interpersonal relationship;
- Good team working skills;
- Spirit of initiative and proactivity, and willingness to learn;
- Commitment capacity;
- Very good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
