What you’ll do

Join the team that is dedicated to evolving Operations to meet the demands of running the Services networks and applications

  • Be a part of the Online Charging Services team, focused on developing solutions that drive the success of Vodafone’s Intelligent Network Services and Platforms
  • Be a part of cross-functional activities with partners in planning, performance, testing, and deploying
  • Responsible for incident and problem management and develop software solutions with an emphasis on continuous operational improvement and efficiency
  • Release and Change Management
    • Support change management process in a complex network and services environment 
    • Execute change activities to deliver business requirements and needs 
    • Plan and deploy major software releases or corrections
  • Incident and Problem Management
    • Provide 2nd level of support 
    • Analyse root-cause for one or more related incidents
    • Provide temporary or long-term solutions
  • Operations Control
    • Monitor and control service
    • Implement preventive solutions 
    • Develop Automation to support operations activities
  • Project Management
    • Work as part of managed projects embracing agile methodologies and show an aptitude for being able to adapt and lead the effort to transform the way we do operations by promoting a DevOps mindset

Who you are

  • Degree in computer science or telecommunications, or other related field
  • Knowledge of Online Chargin Systems 
  • Knowledge of RedHat/Linux environments
  • Knowledge of Oracle, Timesten and PostGreSQL database
  • Knowledge of Cloud Platform Technologies
  • Knowledge of software architecture, programming languages, virtualization, and the networking layers
  • Experience in building complex and performant Oracle Query's and creating dashboards with relevant KPIs
  • Knowledge of AGILE and DevOps methodologies
  • Undestanding on cloud tecnologies like Kubernetes and Helm
  • PowerBI knowledge
  • Ability to handle multiple work assignments simultaneously
  • Good critical thinking, problem solving, organizational, decision-making and communication skills
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese required
