About this role
What you’ll do
- Design and implement AI solution architectures aligned with Vodafone’s technology and business strategies.
- Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers and multi-disciplinary teams to develop, integrate and optimise AI solutions.
- Ensure all AI solutions are scalable, resilient, secure and efficient.
- Apply the latest advancements in AI, machine learning and Generative AI to enhance existing capabilities and introduce new innovation opportunities.
- Provide technical leadership, direction and architectural guidance to delivery teams.
- Champion Responsible AI principles, including Ethical AI frameworks and compliance with the EU AI Act.
- Contribute to efficient delivery of AI use cases and support timely, high‑quality project execution.
Who you are
- Experienced in AI and machine learning, including hands-on work with frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java or C++.
- Knowledgeable in cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Skilled in data processing and storage technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, SQL).
- Familiar with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment.
- Strong in analytical thinking, problem-solving and translating complex technical requirements into practical solutions.
- An effective communicator with excellent collaboration skills, comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
- Organised and proactive, with a mindset geared towards innovation and continuous improvement.
