About this Role

We are seeking an experienced transformation leader to drive strategic change and operational excellence across international Business Assurance. Reporting to the Head of Business Assurance, the individual will guide global teams across VGE, Vodafone Three (UK), IoT, VCS, VRS, Automotive, and Satellite business units. The role focuses on building a strong second-line assurance capability, strengthening risk and control frameworks, leading cross‑market transformation, and championing innovation across global communities of practice.

What you will do

• Lead, inspire, and develop international teams, fostering collaboration across markets and business units.
• Oversee the transition to a mature second-line assurance capability, embedding best practices and advanced methodologies.
• Expand the LRAM (Leakage Risk Assurance Management) product portfolio and enhance Business Assurance visibility across operating companies.
• Build trusted and effective relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory expectations.
• Strengthen and improve controls frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate operational and financial risks.
• Drive process standardisation by identifying leakage risks and collaborating with technology and business owners to resolve them.
• Define KPIs to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of end-to-end processes while monitoring their performance.
• Identify and recommend optimal delivery models for Business Assurance in partnership with local markets and VOIS.
• Utilise data analytics to generate insights and support decision‑making for extended initiatives across Vodafone markets.
• Lead communication and engagement across global stakeholder communities, ensuring clear messaging and collaborative outcomes.
• Act as a role model within the global community of practice, promoting diversity, inclusion, and innovation.

Who you are

• Exceptional leadership and communication capability, with experience engaging diverse and senior stakeholders and navigating complex discussions.
• Strong change management experience with a global outlook and cross‑cultural understanding.
• Proven ability in leading virtual teams and managing off‑shoring or large‑scale transformation programmes.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to diagnose varied business challenges and propose innovative solutions.
• Comfortable working in volatile or ambiguous environments with a resilient and collaborative approach.
• 15+ years’ experience in blue‑chip finance environments or shared service centres, including experience in global business process management.
• Expertise in Margin Assurance processes, with experience leading projects beyond standard operational activities.
• Strong financial understanding and commitment to maintaining a robust control environment.
• Demonstrable record of delivering people‑centred change initiatives.
• Ability to influence without authority and navigate organisational dynamics effectively.
• Authentic leadership style aligned with personal and organisational values.
