Role Title: Business Development Manager

Role Purpose...
This role will be responsible for developing, managing and optimising our global peering relationships with customers. To grow Vodafone revenues in this important market. The role involves strategy development. Negotiation and contract management.
In this role, you will need to:
- Work closely with the global network team to develop and implement our global IP transit go to market strategy
- Identify and evaluate potential new partners
- Negotiate and manage commercial peering arrangements with both new and existing customers
- Work closely with the network team to monitor and analyse peering usage to optimise IP transit revenues on a commercial basis
- Maintain up to date knowledge of industry segments
- Represent Vodafone at industry events
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, sales teams, marketing and legal to ensure alignment of broader objectives
- Help shape the product development for peering and transit, help manage the product roadmap and commercial IP strategy

- Validated experience in business development, related to IP Transity
- Good understanding of IP networking and the global IP peering eco system
- Prove negotiation skills
- Interest in the Telecoms carrier market place
- Effective communicator with technical and non-technical teams
