What you’ll do
Context:
Group HR stands at the core of transformation at Vodafone, leading the cultural change on our most valued asset: our people. We ensure all the 90k employees across the world have the best employee experience by thriving on their careers, boosting their expertise and having the most advance digital & Gen AI powered tools at their service. The focus will be to support the transformation of Group HR by driving the Talent, Culture and Organizational agenda with the relevant leaders of HR.
Role purpose:
The role will be responsible for leading the people & transformation agenda within Group HR, with a key focus on organisational and team effectiveness (which are increasingly key as we move into digital and more agile ways of working), talent management and building future skills and leadership capabilities to ensure our people are fit for the future.
As a co-pilot to the business functions being supported, the HRBP role is required to guide leaders with coaching and feedback to support their personal effectiveness and the broader growth and development of the team. You will also be required to work with other HRBP’s across different organisations and countries to drive cross-functional global projects.
- Supports leaders in defining, developing and executing people plans that support achieving the business strategy.
- Accountable for delivering the annual people calendar activities within our broader HR strategy, policies & priorities.
- Translates and supports the delivery of the talent strategy. Drives pipeline of diverse future leaders and accelerates high potential development while driving the Diversity & Inclusion agenda
- HR thought leadership in building, buying and developing future strategic capabilities for Technology
- Continually challenges the business, instigating and managing transformation projects in the domains that improve organisation, team and individual effectiveness, including organisational effectiveness & design, skills development & talent management.
- Provides feedback and coaching to the relevant leaders being supported and ensures all leaders & people managers are equipped to drive employee engagement
- Advocates & supports using the HR operating model, acting as a role model and facilitator to ensure business areas adhere to and HR deliver to agreed service.
- Proactively manages the HR Business Partner supplier interfaces to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Provides support within the HR team to peers and coaching to more junior members of the team
Who you are
- Great capacity and agility to learn and develop new skills fast is the core competence.
- Good analytical, strategic and data-driven mindset.
- Strong relationship & communication skills.
- Good business understanding. Some previous experience in a business area will be valued
- Previous experience as HRBP will be appreciated, also experience in a center of expertise within HR.
- Comfortable working under complex and ambiguous scenarios and managing several stakeholders simultaneously.
- Career degree, preferably in Business, Science or Engineering.
- Strong & fluid English language skills.
- At least two years of professional experience.
