What you’ll do

Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Design and implement IoT Communications plan to deliver on Vodafone IoT’s business priorities and culture
  • Own the development of messaging for key initiatives, ensuring clarity, consistency and timelines
  • Own and deliver IoT-wide communications and curate the IoT communications data hub
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify communication needs and shape appropriate solutions.
  • Support the IoT Leadership Team to deliver against Comms Plan and to self-curate their own content on digital channels
  • Manage content creation for Landing page, newsletters, town halls and other internal platforms
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management regarding internal communications strategy and employee engagement
  • Deliver excellent project management to ensure IoT Operational excellence across strategy pillars
  • Deliver the IoT Global Leaders Event (held in Lisbon for the last 2 years)
  • Drive Our House Initiative to shape our IoT Culture to outpace the market 
  • Support IoT CEO in key presentations to ExCo and Customers
  • Execute IoT monthly webinar/events with IoT Leadership Team to help ensure the delivery of our IoT strategy
  • Support on Adhoc strategic and confidential projects with the IoT Business Manager

Who you are

Must-have technical / professional qualifications:

  • Proven experience in internal communications, preferably within a technology or TelCo environment
  • Understanding of IoT, Customer Use Cases and it’s business impact is highly desirable
  • Experience managing multi-channel communication campaigns or complex global, fast paced projects
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging content
  • Track record of driving employee engagement and supporting change management initiatives
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in both written and verbal form – confident in communication with senior stakeholders (ILT & VF Business/Group)
  • Brilliant stakeholder management and complex problem-solving skills
  • Ability to produce eye catching, simple and clear presentations and present across multiple levels in the organisation including to ExCo and Board Members
  • Comfortable in corporate / multinational B2B business including networking, influencing and persuading internal and external teams and stakeholders
  • Experience of presenting and engaging with all levels of the Organisation
  • Strong English negotiation skills
