What you’ll do
The Vodafone Internet of Things (IoT) drives profitable growth by creating products that transform businesses across a range of industries and verticals: in retail with smart shelves and interactive displays, in healthcare with real-time ambulance tracking and heart monitoring devices and in manufacturing we help increase productivity and safety while protecting the environment. We have been recognised by Gartner as a Leader in the latest Magic Quadrant for IoT Connectivity Services, Worldwide, for the 11th consecutive year.
As our IoT Go-To-Market manager, you will perform a pivotal role by driving the Go to Market (GTM) strategy and associated activities across the Vodafone IoT products. You will define clear internal and external messaging and content relating to products and roadmaps and collaborate closely with sales to ensure they have effective product collateral. You will also drive specific Sales enablement activities targeting our Partners and Partner Markets.
You will work effectively with a wide range of senior colleagues across Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Commercial, Customer Operations, Technology and Internal Comms at global and local level to generate and maintain significant awareness and interest in the products offered as part of our IoT portfolio.
You will have gained your GTM and product marketing experience in a technology company, where you would have been a key part of the support offered to your sales colleagues and helped them succeed in selling to enterprise customers. You will be an excellent collaborator and be comfortable working in an environment where success is achieved by team work.
- Define and ensure successful launches of new products, features and capabilities, by clearly positioning our product in the market, making sure that customers are aware of our unique offering while Sales and Technical Sales teams have the required tools, support, documents and incentive structure in place
- Lead creation of internal and external facing product collateral, working collaboratively with Product Management and Marketing.
- Lead Sales Enablement activities & training events to ensure the Partner and Partner markets channels are enabled through appropriate training
- Support in life product asset management to ensure timely and accurate updates
- Track and monitor the commercial success of launches and in-life portfolio management through monthly reporting and enhance product proposition/messaging if needed
Who you are
- Experience in defining and delivering successful GTM plans in the enterprise space
- Good understanding of the IoT industry landscape (competitors and customers) and IoT products
- Working knowledge of IoT and technology related communication
- Experience in web and media communication technologies, product documentation and content creation
- Strong communicator, able to influence, manage and work with external and internal stakeholders at various organisational levels
- Graduate degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business Management
- Advanced communication skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Self-starter who can operate in a “start-up” type environment and support scaling the organization.
