What you’ll do
The Vodafone Leadership team is dedicated to designing and enabling the delivery of leadership development support across the Vodafone ecosystem. We believe in the pivotal role that leadership holds in driving Vodafone’s transformation and serving our purpose. Great leadership maximises the collective impact of our people, now and in the future.
We are trusted design partners for our Leaders, Learning and Performance Business Partner Community, HRDs and Senior Business Leaders, globally. By joining the Vodafone leadership team, you will play an active role in creating the future of Vodafone.
We are seeking to hire a Leadership & Talent Specialist to play an integral role in the team. The role of the Leadership & Talent Specialist is to manage the end-to-end design and delivery of leadership and talent interventions aligned to the Global Leadership Development Strategy, working in partnership with Leadership Consultants, and Learning and Performance Business Partners. It is also responsible for uncovering/implementing strategies to anticipate and respond to future leadership needs. The role encompasses both advisory and delivery aspects: consulting senior leaders on the leadership requirements necessary for executing Vodafone’s global and local business strategies and developing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
- Strategic Program Design and Delivery: Lead the creation and implementation of global leadership and talent interventions in alignment with the Leadership Development Strategy, partnering with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Human-Centred and Experience Design: Use design methodologies (e.g., 5Di) to address business challenges and create shared experiences—facilitated or leader-led—that engage leaders and improve performance.
- Digital and Campaign Design: Collaborate with the digital design team to develop performance support resources and impactful communicating and marketing campaigns that inspire local ownership and drive engagement with strategic priorities.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR, Internal Comms, business leaders, and market teams to co-create exceptional participant experiences and scalable delivery models.
- Delivery Enablement: Support market teams and facilitators to deliver centrally designed programs effectively, providing training and resources as needed.
- Vendor and Budget Management: Oversee vendors and manage budgets to ensure high-quality delivery and alignment with goals
- Impact and Improvement: Measure program effectiveness, leveraging insights to continuously refine offerings and maximise impact.
- Best Practices and Innovation: Identify global best practices and leverage resources to drive innovation and consistency across markets.
- Specific projects may include: Licence to Coach, Gen AI Leadership Development, Leadership Toolkit resource creation, Leads Leaders design, defining Director accountabilities, GTM for all products for VLO Summit, core curriculum measurements and ongoing improvement.
Who you are
- Expertise of fully blended leadership development including:
- Skilled in Human-centred design (e.g., 5Di): analysing and defining business problems, discovering audience needs, and designing solutions to shift behaviour and enable measurable performance improvement
- The ability to work backwards from a bold vision of the ideal solution (that doesn’t exist yet) to work out how it can be created, through rapid prototyping, testing and iterating based on user feedback and business impact
- Experience in driving measurable culture change through bold and / or very simple solutions: e.g.,
- Creation of elegantly simple resources (e.g., checklists, one-pagers, user guides) that enable and guide high performance
- Facilitated experience design (e.g., simulations, role-play, story/scene writing)
- Video creation (using video creation software for video and audio editing)
- Skilled facilitator both to deliver train the trainer sessions and end programmes
- Data management and analysis (e.g. to understand business requirements, to track participant data, measures of success) using software such as Power BI App etc.
- Knowledge of Success Factors/Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure the system supports the learning interventions (e.g. capturing learning hours)
- Language skills: fluent in English
