Organisational Design Manager

Location: Newbury or London (Full-time remote working during COVID-19) then Hybrid working

What will you be doing? 

Lead functional organisational design and change/transformation activities, driving simplicity, accountability and effectiveness across the UK market and with Vodafone Group entities where applicable.

•    Drive “macro operating model design” studies through reviewing current structures, identifying issues with current designs, providing recommendations and designing target state model options via partnering with HRBPs and relevant business leaders
•    Lead “macro organisation structure design” studies for the UK through analysing current org structures, identifying gaps between current and target structures, capturing needs and then designing target organisation structures
•    Assure the delivery of operating model and organisational designs across Vodafone UK 
•    Lead and manage organisational design and transformational projects to improve the simplicity and effectiveness of Vodafone UK
•    Provide organisational design expertise and coaching to middle-management business and HR colleagues as needed
•    Assist the Organisational Design Senior Manager with developing organisational design methodologies / best practices, working in close collaboration with Group Organisation Effectiveness


Who are we looking for?  

•    Significant OD experience deployed in large complex organisations
•    CIPD or similar professional qualifications are favourable
•    Impact and influence – ability to influence senior stakeholders, working across the UK organisation but also with Group and other markets as necessary
•    Coaching – ability to coach and work collaboratively with business and HR colleagues
•    Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking – credibility in expertise 
•    Very strong presentation and communication skills – verbal and written. Ability to simplify complex data and concepts
•    Management consulting experience – preferred
•    Highly competent with MS PowerPoint presentations and MS Excel data analysis
