The Consumer Products and Marketing business unit within Vodafone Group develops products and services for customers in markets that Vodafone operates in. This role is within the Commercial Product team for Vodafone Secure Net, a digital security product line that is launched in multiple countries and helps keep millions of Vodafone mobile and broadband customers safe from cyber threats.  

The Product Performance Manager is responsible for defining, tracking and driving performance metrics and related improvements, collaborating with Product Owners and Technology teams, who deliver the roadmap through agile development teams. They will partner with Technology to improve how analytics are captured and visualized using the latest technology and tools. Our products are global, but we cater to individual country needs and therefore this role also involves driving product features usage and tracking performance with in-market product managers to ensure effective leverage and maximise both customer engagement and commercial performance.  

The Performance Manager  will support the Head of Product in assessing product performance, recommending changes and/or further analysis. The Performance Manager is responsible for business performance reviews towards targets and for forecasting performance into the future. 

  • Define metrics at a product level/ for new features together with Product Owners by linking to expected business outcomes
  • Create automated reports & dashboards to track product performance KPIs, using the latest technology and tools with Technology team
  • Implement required data streams to be able to extract necessary insights to improve and maximise product performance
  • Measure and document impact of features, initiatives or proof of concepts launched globally or in specific markets
  • Own product metrics and insights to be able to prepare Business Reviews and present to Product teams regularly
  • Plan and forecast metrics and revenue targets, as applicable
  • Proactively seek out new & better ways of achieving business goals & lead key initiatives working with Product Owners

 

Who you are

  • Wide experience on digital analytics management understanding and setting up Data Layers, Analytics tools, and conversion funnels 
  • Structured and analytical thinker able to analyse data streams and draw actionable insights linked to expected business outcomes
  • Demonstrate ability to make decisions through data interpretation
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working with people from multiple countries
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments to develop, improve and implement process, policies and procedures to drive synergies and business efficiencies
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel for business reporting and analytics and MS Office
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills. 
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Experience in BI, Analytics or CRM 
  • Core understand of digital analytics tools such as  Tableau, Google Analytics, GCP etc
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills including innovative and creative thinking
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
