The New Business Development team is focused on rapidly growing Vodafone’s market share by bringing to market innovative, customer orientated propositions that embody our challenger spirit.  

What will you be doing? 

As Proposition manager you will be responsible for planning and maintaining the Consumer Insurance proposition and ensuring optimum performance.  This will involve understanding the market to ensure competitive positioning, continuously seeking to enhance our offering and finding ways to increase attachment rates whilst maintaining a happy customer base.

You will live and breathe the customer experience, defining and measuring relevant performance targets (operational and commercial) to ensure strong customer engagement with commercial viability.  You would be expected to develop ideas to help drive digital transformation – something that sits at the heart of the team.

Key accountabilities and decision ownership : 
1.    Performance (P&L) ownership for achievement of targets.
2.    Performance ownership for customer experience and journey touchpoints.
3.    Business case ownership (costs and benefits) for new initiatives.
4.    Create and own the ongoing action plan to drive commercial, customer and regulatory performance, ensuring ownership across the business for all actions. 
5.    Ensure that roadmap is aligned with budget and forecast, that KPIs are clearly identified and trackable.
6.    Seek performance uplift through internal and external benchmarking.
7.    Define the proposition and commercial strategy for your propositions - defining the customer insights, target audience and market opportunities whilst conforming to our regulatory requirements.
8.    Identify and proactively manage risks in accordance with relevant governance e.g. Conduct Risk Forums.
9.    Ensure ongoing requirements are identified and delivered in line with new propositions across the business, regulation changes, etc.

Who are we looking for?  


1.    Competent understanding of the FCA regulatory environment surrounding insurance.
2.    Experience from another Telco / Media environment or other subscriber market.
3.    Track record of insight-led proposition development, putting the customer at the heart.  
4.    Ability to build strong professional relationships in order to lead virtual teams and get things done.
5.    Proven ability to drive change through a complex business and deal with multiple demanding stakeholders.
Must have technical / professional qualifications: 
1.    Experience working on FCA regulated propositions.
2.    Proven track record in consumer commercial proposition development.
3.    Understanding and delivering on the drivers of value creation.
4.    Strong communication and presentation skills
