This role is to leverage Vodafone Group: platforms, products & services to enable our Partner Markets to enhance their product portfolio, leverage Vodafone’s investment in developing products and platforms and benefit from our global scale.   It ensures that we successfully deliver value to them from our engagements based on Vodafone’s unique value propositions: the knowledge and experience of Partner Markets, Group Functions and OpCo experts, blueprints, best practices and shared services across Vodafone. 

Your role is to work closely with group and OpCo business product teams to understand the current portfolio and future roadmap. Then to understand partner needs and requirements and build relevant products & services as propositions that enable Partner Markets to benefit from the Vodafone partnership. This could be in the form of product procurement, platform expansion and accelerated GTM.

It’s an extremely wide-ranging role, which requires both breadth and depth of experience across all aspects of product management and GTM. Alongside our Partner Account teams you will be expected to carry out business development directly with Partners across the world, operating at executive level.

Being seen as a business products expert in the Partner Markets Business Solutions Team providing knowledge and understanding across the product portfolio of Mobile & Fixed Connectivity, Cloud, Security and End to End Solutions.

Taking ownership of a section of the business product portfolio alongside other colleagues and working closely with the Vodafone Product teams to share knowledge and develop programmes.

Working with the regional account management teams to identify opportunities to grow revenue through platform and product expansion to Partners. This will include procurement & commercial planning engagement.

What you’ll do

  • Build strong relationships with VF Group & OpCo product teams at a senior level to ensure up to date product knowledge and an understanding of future roadmaps. 
  • Develop and deliver product and platform propositions to Partner Markets across all regions.
  • Work with commercial & finance teams to ensure proposition viability and ROI.
  • Work with VPC and vendors to evaluate and extend Group purchasing agreements to Partner Markets
  • Support our Partner Account teams as a Business Solutions products expert, bringing in Group & OpCo experts where necessary for specialist knowledge.
  • Work with colleagues across the Business Solutions team and other Partner Markets functions to build bigger business transformation programmes for Partners.
  • Build GTM plans in either agile or waterfall methodologies working with GTM experts.
  • Hosting and delivering Partner Webinars

Who you are

  • Highly experienced B2B product manager with a background in Telecoms and/or IT. 
  • A good understanding of product trends within telecommunications operators.
  • Depth of experience in new product development and product lifecycle management
  • Ideally an Agile practitioner within the product development environment
  • Experience in product GTM across different market segments
  • Commercial awareness & understanding
  • A good communicator at all management levels, a confident presenter.
  • Experience in building new products & propositions and associated processes in a telecom environment.
  • Ideally agile certified
  • Educated to degree level.
  • MBA preferred.
