What you’ll do

Vodafone is seeking a highly capable and motivated Senior Company Secretarial Assistant to join its Corporate Secretariat plc team. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop your career within a dual‑listed (UK and US), multinational company.

The Senior Company Secretarial Assistant will provide high‑quality governance and statutory support across Vodafone Group plc’s regulatory, disclosure and shareholder obligations. You will take ownership of key plc deliverables, support Board and Committee processes, and contribute to the effective operation of the Group’s plc governance framework. This role offers breadth, technical challenge and genuine scope for professional growth within a sophisticated listed‑company environment.

 

  • Support delivery of Vodafone Group plc’s statutory, regulatory and listing obligations across both UK and US markets.
  • Support compliance with MAR and related requirements.
  • Maintain accurate share capital records, and disclosure-related information.
  • Assist in the preparation of RNS announcements, regulatory filings and shareholder‑facing documents.
  • Support plc Board and Committee governance activities, including drafting routine Board papers.
  • Contribute to governance disclosures within the Annual Report and Half‑Year results.
  • Support planning and delivery of the AGM and related shareholder communications.
  • Maintain Company Secretariat content on the corporate website and manage the Secretariat inbox.
  • Contribute to ongoing enhancements to governance processes, controls and systems across the Secretariat.
  • Support delivery of the Corporate Secretariat team’s objectives and priorities.

Who you are

  • CGI-qualified with good understanding of UK plc governance, statutory requirements and disclosure obligations; familiarity with dual‑listing environments is advantageous.
  • Experience in a listed company or professional services firm supporting large corporate or plc clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to distil complex information clearly and professionally.
  • Strong organisational capability with the ability to operate confidently in a fast‑moving, high‑expectation environment.
  • High attention to detail, sound judgement and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Well developed IT skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, with an interest in digital tools.
