What you’ll do

The Process, Controls & Transformation Lead plays a critical role in strengthening Vodafone Business Finance Operations through robust control frameworks, continuous process improvement, and delivery of key transformation initiatives. The role oversees operational governance across CTC, S2P, Opex and Commissions, supports audit delivery, drives VOIS commercial accountability, and deputises for the Head of Finance Operations where required.
This role is ideal for a hands on finance leader with strong operational expertise, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and a passion for driving improvement across complex, matrixed environments

1. Process, Controls & Transformation
-Identify key finance and operational risks; design, execute and remediate control frameworks.
-Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, accuracy and effectiveness of finance processes; act as VB VOIS lead working closely with service lines on major transformation projects for e.g. Record to Close, L5 documentation etc
-Lead action plans based on Finance League Table and Process Health KPIs; ensure accurate KPI reporting and segmentation integrity.
-Deliver local market transformation projects and act as SPOC for global transformation initiatives.
-Provide regular updates to the Head of Finance Operations on BAU, controls, transformation progress and improvement plans.
-Lead the VB & VGS Spirit Programme, plan engagement initiatives and drive improvement in spirit scores.
2. Finance Operations Management & Governance
-Oversee delivery of operational outcomes across CTC, S2P, INCA/VEGI, Opex and Commissions, rationalise the outcome and present to HOFO and other leadership stakeholders on regular basis.
-Design new governance reports and implement controls to ensure accuracy of month end close outputs.
-Act as delegate to the Head of Finance Operations for Automotive BU and associated entities.
-Oversee operational delivery from external finance suppliers such as KPMG, BDO for their scoped in work and manage the relationships; own the budget and ensure costs are in line with expectations; Devise strategy to align operating model for these services with commercial construct offered by VOIS
3. Statutory Audit & Reporting
-Lead engagement with external auditors, entity controllers, tax and cosec to deliver statutory accounts to target timelines.
-Own the audit fee budget; address overruns, drive and monitor and report on process improvements and resolve coordination challenges.
4. VOIS Demand Management & Commercials
-Lead VOIS commercial reporting including billed cost reconciliation, service credits, change processes and the true up/down mechanism.
-Present commercial outcomes to HOFO, customer account management teams and senior leadership.
-Manage the new demand process end to end: qualification, solution and costing alignment, business case preparation and executive buy in.

Who you are

-Strong experience across finance operations, governance and control frameworks.
-Proven track record delivering transformation in global or shared service environments.
-Deep understanding of E2E finance processes (S2P, INCA/VEGI or similar transfer pricing processes, Opex reporting, CTC, Commissions, Month End close).
-Ability to interpret and challenge financial outcomes, KPIs and commercial drivers.
-Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
-Experience interfacing with auditors and managing statutory audits.
-High accountability, resilience and ability to manage competing priorities.
-Experience working with VOIS or similar global delivery/external service model.
-Operational knowledge of Vodafone Business processes and systems ecosystem.
-Project management certification (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, etc.).
