Paid Social Specialist

What will you be doing?
This role forms a critical part of Vodafone’s new in-house media team, that will take full strategic and operational accountability of the Paid Social Channel with the Biddable Media team.
You will be sitting within and leading the Brand, VOXI and Home Broadband pod, so you’ll be working within a wider paid social team but will be working more closely with one Executive. You’ll be leading campaigns such as Wimbledon, Christmas, Home Broadband and VOXI (our youth proposition). While you don’t line manage the executive, you’ll manage their day-to-day workload and will support their growth and mentor alongside the Paid Social Lead.
Success in this role at Vodafone will depend heavily on both credible technical expertise and experience, but also the ability to work well in an extremely fast-paced and demanding environment, and in collaborating / influencing across teams.
Who are we looking for?
You must have hands-on and operational experience of social platforms, i.e. Meta, Twitter, Snap, and Reddit/TikTok and prior experience of planning paid social campaigns.
In addition to the above, we will look for:
- Audience and Best Practice - Paid Social knowledge including targeting strategies, lift study measurement, best practice.
- Reporting – Excel skills such as pivot tables, vlookup and knows how to present data on slides for wider teams.
- Detail and Data - Very good data management and analytical skills, preferably from performing large scale analysis on media spend and performance, with strong attention to detail.
- Measurement - Knowledge of measurement, Adobe Analytics, tracking tag management / implementation.
- Education – Be able to educate wider teams about paid social and the capability to establish us as experts in our discipline, also helping to skill up more junior employee members.
- Good communication skills – written and visual.
- Proven track-record of driving projects and creating impact through pragmatic problem-solving.
