What you’ll do
You’ll play a key role in shaping how our propositions are priced and positioned in the market, making sure they’re competitive, profitable, and easy for our sales teams to use.
In this role, you’ll:
- Support the development of standard pricing and promotional strategies by analysing market trends, competitor pricing, and cost bases to ensure our pricing is commercially viable and aligned with our business strategy.
- Work closely with pricing managers to continuously test and validate price positioning, ensuring our propositions are priced to win.
- Maintain, test, and regularly audit quoting tools so they always reflect the latest pricing strategy and cost information—and are simple and reliable for sales teams to use.
- Run weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports and analysis that help pricing managers focus on strategic initiatives and enable sales teams to provide accurate, confident quotes to customers.
- Support the delivery of price promotions, making sure systems, tools, and sales collateral are set up correctly and consistently.
- Play an important role in annual and ad-hoc price rise activities, partnering with pricing managers and wider stakeholders to deliver these smoothly and accurately.
This is a hands-on role where your attention to detail, analytical skills, and commercial curiosity will directly support smarter pricing decisions and better customer outcomes.
Who you are
- Experience in a similar commercial or pricing role, ideally within a telecommunications environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn data into clear insights
- A high level of attention to detail and confidence working with pricing systems and tools
- Good knowledge of the telecoms market and competitive landscape
- Advanced Excel and data analytics skills
- Experience using Power BI for reporting and insights
- Solid PowerPoint and presentation skills to communicate findings clearly
- Experience with Business Objects (preferred, but not essential)
