What you’ll do

 

This role forms a critical part of Vodafone’s new in-house media team, which will take full strategic and operational accountability for the Paid Social channel, working closely with the wider Biddable Media team. This change reflects the next phase of Vodafone’s digital transformation and an increased focus on delivering against our Operating Principles of Transparency, Ownership and Independence.

 

You’ll be working on major national campaigns and launches including Brand, iPhone, Home Broadband, new device launches and key promotional periods.

 

Key accountabilities:

 

  • Be an integral part of the Paid Social team, working closely with the Paid Social Specialist and wider Biddable Media team.
  • Execute campaigns to deliver against media and business outcome KPIs, including account management, campaign setup, tactical optimisation and reporting.
  • Activate and optimise campaigns across key paid social platforms including Meta, Snap, TikTok, Reddit and Pinterest.
  • Effectively and independently manage accounts in line with platform and Vodafone best practice.
  • Work with direction from the Paid Social Lead to implement paid social strategy and testing roadmaps.
  • Be responsible for executing test and learn plans and providing high-quality analysis and insights to inform future activity.

 

Who you are 

 

We are looking for someone with strong hands on, operational experience across social advertising platforms, particularly Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Snap and Reddit, with TikTok and Pinterest experience also beneficial.

 

You will have solid Paid Social knowledge including audience targeting strategies, creative testing approaches, platform best practice and measurement approaches such as lift studies and incrementality testing. Experience across both brand and performance campaigns is important, with a clear understanding of how to use data and technology to deliver accountable media outcomes.

 

You’ll be highly organised and detail oriented, comfortable managing multiple campaigns at pace, and able to communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

The following would be ideal, but not a must:

 

  • Experience using Adobe Analytics and/or working with tracking and tag management implementations.
  • Strong data handling and analytical skills, including experience working with large performance datasets and producing actionable insights.
  • Media planning experience or exposure to broader channel planning processes.
