What you’ll do
Apply accounting knowledge related to financial instruments to prepare high quality statutory and management reports related to Group holding and treasury entities. Utilise accounting and stakeholder management skills to support M&A and group restructuring projects. Manage compliance with internal treasury policies and external regulatory or debt covenant requirements.
• Utilise knowledge of accounting for financial instruments and participate in monthly and annual closing process for Vodafone Group Plc and group treasury companies; provide business partner support to Group Treasury
• Lead accounting and reporting workstream of group restructuring and M&A projects, including preparation of accounting step plans; act as a key business partner to M&A, CoSec, Legal and Tax
• Manage corporate governance of Vodafone Group Plc and other holding and treasury entities within the Group, including distributable reserves
• Coordinate and oversee local teams to ensure compliance with the Group treasury policies and debt covenants; prepare treasury management reports
• Prepare statutory financial statements for group holding companies; provide support in the preparation of notes to consolidated financial statements
• Perform operational treasury activities such as payment approvals, static and transactional data management; maintain oversight over guarantees issued by the Group
Who you are
• Minimum 5 years of experience with accounting for financial instruments and treasury reporting
• ACA qualified (or similar level qualification)
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, understand complex transactions, identify risks and explain complex information to non-specialists as a business partner
• Strong focus on compliance, timeliness and robust internal control framework
• Experience with treasury reporting either in the Big 4 or in a large, listed organisation is advantageous
