Vodafone Procurement Company Sarl (VPC) is incorporated in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and is an integral part of our global Supply Chain Management function. With our 300+ employees coming from 52+ different countries, we are the global procurement entity of the Vodafone Group with responsibility for all strategic activities related to supply chain management.

What you’ll do

As a Senior Supply Chain Account Manager for Spain, you will be responsible for managing the Master Services Agreement, driving profitable and long-term revenue and margin contribution for the VPC as well as increasing customer NPS. You will be the main point of contact for the customer and will be responsible for building strong relationships at the C-Suite level, understanding their needs, and proposing suitable VPC solutions as well as resolving any issues on time. This role requires a resilient customer-centric colleague with strong commercial and negotiation skills who can manage conflicting priorities and influence the VPC at all levels to deliver value and exceed the customers’ expectations.

You will: 

Impact on the Business

  • Ensures delivery of all financial targets including revenue and margin.
  • Develops and executes a strategic account plan to drive sales and meet financial targets.
  • Establishes appropriate relationships with customers and leverages those relationships to retain and win new business.
  • People management responsibility for a team of professionals. Defines team operating standards, sets direction, and enables performance.

Customer:

  • Act as key customer liaison responsible for developing strong one-to-one long-term relationships with key choice makers/ influencers up to C Level.
  • Establish and manage an Account team to effectively support customer requirements
  • Deliver customer NPS improvements.
  • Negotiate new commercials that retain scale via the VPC.
  • Manage the Master Services Agreement effectively to optimize scale via the VPC while managing any VPC commercial exposure and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Act as the voice of the customer in the VPC, driving delivery of the customer requirements in the required timescales.
  • Develop and implement solutions that simplify processes and improve revenue.
  • Manage and resolve customer issues on time.

Vodafone Procurement Company

  • Ensure the customer’s requirements are captured and delivered in all procurement activities.
  • Manage and drive virtual cross-functional teams to resolve customer issues and deliver against customer requirements in the timescales required.
  • Drive the VPC at all levels to deliver to the performance KPIs.
  • Ensure VPC’s scale is leveraged to deliver the best commercials to the customer.
  • Drive a customer-centric culture across the VPC.

Who you are

  • Procurement Knowledge: Significant procurement and/or sales experience (10+ years) with proven track records of strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Telco Knowledge: Good knowledge of Telecom markets, supply chain dynamics, and key suppliers.
  • Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the customer’s business, its market, and industry alongside key choice-makers and influencers in account organization. 
  • Vodafone Procurement: Deep understanding of the VPC’s products and services and the ability to translate customer’s objectives and strategy into relevant VPC solutions.
  • Customer Focus: Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships and earning trust. 5+ years’ experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Influential Skills: Resilient and able to handle rejection, navigate objections, and maintain a positive attitude in a demanding environment. Demonstrated ability to influence at the C-level. 
  • Leadership Skills: People management experience including a track record of influencing and managing virtual teams to success. Ability to develop and execute a strategic account plan.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills.
  • Education & Experience: University Degree or equivalent professional qualifications.
