Head of AI Products
Role Purpose
The Head of AI Products is responsible for the setup and lifecycle management of scalable AI solutions. This role drives the strategic transformation shift from "project-based" delivery to "product-based" services. The incumbent will identify market opportunities (B2B, B2T, Internal), orchestrate cross-functional teams (Platform, Agents, Models) to build configurable products, and manage the commercial success of these products in a competitive market.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
● Product delivery, ownership and Lifecycle Management: Lead the ideation, roadmap, development, and sunsetting of AI products, ensuring they are configurable, scalable, and profitable.
● Product Portfolio Management: Rationalization of existing products and definition of strategic assets.
● Product value generation vs cost balance: Own the Product value chain, ensuring products generate sufficient internal recharge or external revenue to cover costs and deliver profit.
● Product Value Stream Delivery and Cross-Functional Orchestration: lead product value streams coordinating AI product team engineers and pulling resources from the AI Platform, Models, and Agentic AI teams.
● Market Alignment: Bridge the gap between Group IT and Local Markets/External Customers, moving from a "push" approach to a "customer-centric" design approach.
● External Sales Enablement: Collaborate with partners like Microsoft and Google, and internal sales teams to package AI products for sale to external enterprise customers.
Key performance indicators
● Total Revenue/Value generated or Cost avoided by the Product Portfolio (Internal Recharges/ Optimization+ External Sales).
● Product Value vs Cost (balance per product line).
● Customer Adoption and Satisfaction (NPS) across Markets and External Clients.
● Time to market Delivery
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
● Product Solutions Delivery: 10+ years in Technical Solutions Delivery, preferably in SaaS or AI & Data software. Proven ability to move beyond POCs to deliver industrial production-grade, scalable products that drive tangible business outcomes.
● Complex Ecosystem Orchestration: proven track record in leading end-to-end integrations across transactional (BSS), data, and AI platforms to deliver unified, end-to-end business processes.Strategic & Commercial Mindset: Strong financial acumen; ability to manage P&L, pricing strategies, and build business cases.
● Complex / Global Delivery: Experience leading large / distributed teams to deliver AI / Data products rollouts in complex multinational Environment.
● Stakeholder Influence: Ability to present complex product concepts to non-technical C-suite executives, dealing to influence strategic decisions.
● Agile Transformation: Experience moving teams from "Time & Material" projects to "Product-centric" Agile delivery (SAFe/Scrum).
● Vendor & Partner Management: leveraging Microsoft/Google partnerships and third party integrators.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
● Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
● Strong understanding of the AI development lifecycle and software productization patterns (ToGaf certification is a plus).
● Experience in enterprise-level product strategy and architecture in data and AI in cloud (Cloud architect certification is a plus)
● Experience managing vendor partnerships.
